Dear Daddy,

Hope you’re having fun with your BFF. I thought you’d like to see what I’ve been up to since you’ve been gone:

#1 Since it wasn’t a school night mom let me watch some Netflix in my room while she and Auntie Emi caught up on American Idol. She fully admits it wasn’t her finest parenting moment but she’s over it already. 

#2 I really wanted to wear my bee costume today so I could pretend I was Bumblebee from Transformers. Since you weren’t here mama had to be Optimus Prime. Quite frankly, she didn’t really understand how to play Transformers. Girls. 

#3 In between the rain we walked to the library to get a movie and some books. I made sure that I stepped in every puddle on the way there. I also made sure that all of mommy’s co-workers called me “Bumblebee” and not “Gus”.

#4 I walked around the living pretending I was Wall-E.

#5 Mama was afraid I would hurt myself in my Wall-E costume that I made so she made me a robot costume where I could see where I was going. Moms worry a lot, don’t they?

#6 We had a robot dance party. My new favorite song is “Airplanes” by B.O.B. I’ve been singing it all night.

#7. Mom made pizza for dinner. Of course, I didn’t have any since I don’t like pizza. I had broccoli and cheese instead. Mommy said it wasn’t nearly as good as yours but since you’re outta town she had to make do.
