Gus: Is this rubber band for my rubber band collection?
Arielle: I didn't know you had a rubber band collection.
Gus: It's somewhere....I can't find it.
Arielle: Where do you think it is?
Gus: I don't know. Somewhere. I can't remember. I may have left them in Wahpeton.
Arielle: What are you going to do with your rubber bands if you find them?
Gus: Fling 'em at people.

It's way too hot to be dealing with this...
Gus is in his bedroom, I'm out on the couch.
Gus: I'm not sleepy!
Arielle: You need to go to bed please.
Gus: How about we play a game instead?
Arielle: How about you go to bed?
Gus: I know! Hide & seek. How about that game?
Arielle: No, it's time for bed.
Gus: Ready or not here I come! I'm going to find you.
At this point the kid climbs out of bed....not fun to deal with when it's 84 degrees in your house and muggy in your house. I think it's going to be a long night.

so i’m giving up on the 30 day song challenge. i think i made it about 5 days. figures. with the combination of summer reading starting this week and this cold i’m trying to forget that i have and life with a 3 y.o. i just don’t have to extra brain power to think of a different song each day. it was fun while it lasted!
